Smoky Mountain Escape Games

By March 29, 2018 August 31st, 2018 No Comments

Fun, Fresh, Shareable

Smoky Mountain Escape Games is the largest escape game facility in the great smoky mountains. Instead of focusing on scary escape game subjects they have worked hard to make many of the games family friendly.

Online booking is priority #1, otherwise I just want to show people who we are and get them excited to come see us.

Identity System

Logo, colors, materials

Smoky Mountain Escape Games isn’t complicated its just good ol’ fashioned fun. We wanted to Logo and poster designs to be the same. There are very few Escape Game establishments that target the family market so SMEG decided to fill that gap. We made sure parents and vacationers would feel comfortable bringing anyone and everyone to come play and come again.

I Want to Play THAT!

We want everyone who sees a Smoky Mountain Escape Game poster to say “I want to play that!”. We set out to make each poster speak directly to the target audiences without alienating those adventurous enough to branch out of their comfort zones.

Texture

It takes a sharp mind to escape any of the escape rooms at Smoky Mountain Escape Games. Clocks, Locks, and other gizmos perfectly represent this thought at its core.

Marketing

01. SEO

Being new in competitive market with already established businesses, being seen was critical to getting a piece of the traffic.  So we made sure that the new site not only was indexable (duh!) but that it would stand out from other similarly positioned competitors.

02. Community

Word of mouth is still the most powerful form of advertising, and social media is the online version of that.  So we started establishing the Smoky Mountain Escape Games brand trust by building a social presence to support the business.  With billions of users active monthly on social media, it presents a great way to connect with customers looking for the escape game experience.

03. Purpose

We brought a professional writer in to the Smoky Mountain Escape Games project to not only write content that would speak to potential customers but also to search engines. Each and every word on the Escape Games site is built with purpose. Content layouts were defined by targeted customer web habits to ensure every question is answered just before the customer begins to think it.
